Mining
The Mining Study Program is an engineering discipline that studies and applies science to manage the entire range of activities for mining valuable minerals (such as coal, metal ores, and rocks) in an economical, efficient, safe, and environmentally conscious manner. The focus of study includes Exploration (discovery and reserve evaluation), Mine Planning and Design, Drilling and Blasting technology, Mineral Processing techniques, and Environmental and Mining Safety Management, aiming to produce engineers capable of overseeing and optimizing mining operations from inception to the post-mining (reclamation) stage.
To cultivate technicians in the mining sector who are responsible and prioritize environmental safety.
