Agronomy
The Agronomy Study Program is an agricultural science discipline focused on the study and application of science and technology to manage plant resources (vegetation) to produce agricultural products (food, horticulture, plantations, and bioenergy) to the maximum, efficiently, and sustainably. The curriculum deeply examines Plant Physiology, Plant Breeding for superior varieties, Soil Science, Pest and Weed Control, and Production and Post-Harvest techniques, with the goal of producing agronomists, researchers, or agribusiness managers capable of solving global food production challenges while preserving environmental sustainability.
To promote sustainable agricultural production in Timor-Leste.
